3 Ghost Peppers (seeded and minced – wear your gloves and goggles!)

¼ cups lemon juice

6 tablespoons gelatin

6 cups white sugar

¼ teaspoon butter

Preparation

Combine the crushed berries, minced peppers, lemon juice, butter, and gelatin in a large pan. Bring it to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly until it reaches a boil.

Once boiling, stir in the sugar until it dissolves. Return the mixture to a full boil and cook for one minute or until it reaches the desired consistency for jam.

Ladle the jam into the warmed canning jars, leaving a ¼ inch space at the top.
