About the Recipe
Sorbetto di frutti di bosco or Forest Fruit Sorbet, a refreshing dessert, is made from a delightful combination of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. The vibrant colors and flavors come from the ripe berries, which are meticulously washed and blended into a smooth puree. Sugar is added to enhance the flavor and achieve a velvety texture, while water ensures consistency. The mixture is then churned or frozen to create a creamy consistency.
This light dessert can be enjoyed on its own, as a topping, or complemented by mint, lemon zest, or liqueur. Popular during warmer months, it provides a cooling respite for gatherings. Forest fruit sorbet is dairy-free, vegan, and highly customizable, embodying the essence of summer and natural sweetness.
