Easy Homemade Guacamole

About the Recipe

Nothing beats the fresh, vibrant flavor of homemade guacamole—and the best part is how easy it is to make. This easy homemade guacamole comes together in just minutes using ripe avocados and a handful of simple ingredients. Creamy, zesty, and endlessly customizable, it’s perfect for dipping tortilla chips, topping tacos, or serving alongside your favorite meals. Once you try it fresh, you’ll never go back to store-bought again.

Ingredients

3 ripe Hass avocado, peeled, pitted and diced

¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

3 tablespoons finely diced onion

Few tablespoons oil, optional

2 tablespoons lime juice

Zest of 1 lime

1 jalapeño, finely diced

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

In a medium mixing bowl, remove the pit and scoop out the pulp.


First, use an avocado smasher to cut the pulp into small pieces.


Add the remaining ingredients and continue mashing until you reach the desired consistency.


Taste the mixture and adjust the salt or lemon juice if needed.


Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for up to an hour.


Once chilled, remove the mixture from the fridge and serve it immediately.
