Rigatoni Pasta
Rigatoni is a large, tubular pasta from Rome with a ridged exterior that helps it hold thick sauces. Its wide, hollow shape and sturdy ridges make it ideal for hearty meat sauces, baked pasta dishes, and sauces with chunky ingredients, as it can capture both sauce inside and out. The name "rigatoni" comes from the Italian word rigato, meaning "ridged".
