Ingredients
2 ripe mangoes
1 cup heavy cream
1 can condensed milk
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 teaspoons gelatin
Preparation
Add 1 cup of heavy cream to a mixing bowl and beat it well using a hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
Pour in 1 can of condensed milk and beat again.
In a small bowl or ramekin, add 4 tablespoons of hot water and 2 teaspoons of gelatin. Mix thoroughly until the gelatin dissolves and set aside.
Peel and chop the mangoes into cubes.
Blend the mango cubes until smooth in a blender.
Add the gelatin mixture to the mango puree and mix well.
Reserve a quarter of the mango puree and mix the remaining mango puree with the cream mixture.
Divide the cream mixture evenly among 4 glasses or ramekins. Top each glass or ramekin with the reserved mango puree.
Refrigerate the mousse for at least 3 hours to allow it to set.
